ABOUT ANGELA ZINK
Chef Angela's passion for cooking stems from her Italian heritage that ultimately led her to attend the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Following her graduation in 2000, she moved to the Big Island to further her culinary knowledge by training under Executive Chef Jackie Lau of Roy's Waikoloa Bar and Grill. After discovering the joy of interacting and the creativity that comes from working with clients personally, she decided to redirect her focus and work exclusively as a private chef. Chef Angela's impressive clientele includes local and visiting families to corporate and Hollywood luminaries. Mama bear of two beautiful kiddos, Angela spends her off time traveling, soaking up the Hawaiian sun and enjoying island living...
"We made contact with Angela to prepare our private wedding dinner for just the two of us. From the moment we made contact with Angela she was very responsive to us. Based on what we were interested in having for our main course she created a wonderful menu for our review and approval. The day of our wedding she arrived early set everything up and started her preparation. To our surprise she even created a beautiful display for the table. The courses she prepared were beautifully presented and the meal simply delicious. She was there to serve us, she cleaned everything up and off she went. It could not have been more perfect and she was just a delight to have in our company. Thank you Angela, for making our wedding dinner a truly delicious and memorable event!"

"Angela was an absolute delight to work with! When you plan a destination wedding, you often don't have the luxury of meeting your vendors. Angela put our minds at ease from the very beginning of our planning process by being responsive to emails and putting together price estimates and menus based on our needs and wants. As our wedding came closer, she helped us think of every detail. On the day of the event, the service staff was friendly and professional, her food was not only beautiful but delicious and every course from appetizers to dessert came out flawlessly for the 26 people in our party. We highly recommend Angela. Many of our guests said that it was
the best food that they had eaten at a wedding reception!"

"Chef Angela is truly a gem! We feel lucky to have found such an incredible chef on the Big Island.
Angela is not only a brilliant cook but she knows where to source the healthiest and tastiest foods.
She also has amazing menu ideas and suggestions and her lovely, engaging manner is an added bonus.
In addition to all this Angela is very artistic not only with meal preparation and presentation but in setting the perfect table complete with gorgeous flower arrangements! We couldn't recommend anyone more highly for a special intimate dinner for two or a delicious, fun dinner party for twelve! She can handle it all."

"I was fortunate enough to have been given Angela's contact information to cater a few dinners
for a group of 25 people for my husband's 50th birthday celebration.
Angela was a treasure from beginning to end. Everyone raved about how extraordinary and delicious the food was and she and her professional staff took care of everything. One dish was better than the next!
We will never forget our dinners with Angela and we give her our highest recommendation
to anyone who is in need of a fabulous caterer on the Big Island."
"My family visited Kona for 10 days in May and we hired Angela to be our personal chef for several nights while we were there. We presented Angela with the ultimate challenge: to prepare meals that met the dietary needs of a vegan, pescatarians and carnivores. She came through with flying colors! Angela prepared creative, delicious meals that wowed and delighted everyone in our party. We couldn't have been more impressed or pleased. She was prompt, had meals ready at the appointed hour, and was a delight to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Angela as a personal chef. The only problem is, she's in Hawaii and we're in San Francisco! Would love to have her available for other family functions."
“We ADORE Angela! Not only are her gourmet meals delicious, creative, fresh, locally grown and beautifully presented, they also include a powerful secret ingredient …and that is the heart, soul and generosity she puts into every dish. She is unflappable and fun and her amazing crew follow her lead in every way. (And they leave our kitchen cleaner than they found it)! We love Angela and can’t recommend her any more highly!”
We have had the pleasure of Angela's company and cooking for a few years, and the day always is a bit sunnier and happier when we know she is coming to cook. Her food is creative, delicious, and meets any specific or general need/interest you may have. Her presentation is lovely - sometimes one wants to just look at the food presentation as a work of art! And just as important, Angela brings a sense of peace, calmness, and happiness to her work that spreads to those of us who are lucky enough to enjoy her cooking and her company.
